About Valley Doulas

Hello! My name is Sara Drissel, the owner of Valley Doulas.

I have 8 years of postpartum experience and 1 year of birth experience. I started postpartum work after my own journey of single parenthood, postpartum struggle, and an adoption. During my adoption labor, I was by myself and feel like that no woman should have to labor alone. I faced not having adequate rest & assistance, and also struggled with postpartum depression. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to support newly formed families or families adding another to the clan! 

We offer pregnancy, birth (in person and virtual) and postpartum support through private pay and Carrot Fertility.

I chose the name Valley Doulas because Jesus always met me in the valleys of my life, and turned my struggled around. My faith is important in my life and I'd love to help you feel supported in your values as well!
